  1. Open the downloaded file RemoteSupport…exe (check your browser's downloads).
  2. If Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” box, click More info → Run anyway. (The app isn't signed yet — that's expected.)
  3. A small window opens and connects you automatically. Keep it open for the whole session.

You stay in control: a red banner naming your technician stays on your screen the whole time, and everything they do is logged. Close the window to end the session at any point.
